The KEMPER ’FK-4’ Backflow Discharge Valve BA, for securing the drinking water installation up to fluid category 4, is manufactured from the corrosion-resistant, durable and proven material gunmetal.
In 5.3.2, under Connections, DIN EN 1717 states:
All connections to the drinking water installation are considered permanent connections.
In practice that means the planned connections for devices and apparatus have to be executed as if there is a constant connection between the drinking water system and the equipment. Temporary connection as described in DIN 1988, Part 4, is no longer permissible.
The German Water Supply Regulations for supplying with water (German abbreviation AVB Wasser V) §15, (1)
Equipment and consumption facilities are to be operated in such a manner that malfunctions of other customers, disturbing repercussions in water supply company equipment and third parties, and repercussions on the quality of the drinking water are impossible.
