New Alloy KAD 442
We, the Gebr. Kemper GmbH + Co. KG, Olpe, are pleased to inform you that the Japanese company DOWA Mining has granted us the licence for the production and the worldwide marketing of a neww alloy.
The alloy has the composition CuZn24Sn1 and features
- attractive metal price
- good mechanical properties (similar to CuSn4 and CuSn6)
- electrical conductivity higher than that of bronze
With this alloy we fulfil the demand of many customers to have a less expensive material for the use in connectors.

Slitting Center Workshop in February 2012 at Gebr. Kemper, Olpe
Numerous partners of Kemper came from Asia, Europe and the USA to attend this interesting technical seminar in the Kemper Technikum in Olpe.
The technical presentations and tours served to update our collective understanding of technical standards available to meet the growing need to supply defect free products in our market.
In summary, all attendees judged it as a very informative workshop.
