Electronica: Kemper to take part in India

A major trade fair is looming. At KEMPER the preparations for "Electronica India" (26-28 September) are in full swing. This will now be the fifth attendance at the international conference for electronic components, materials and production machinery in Bangalore (India).

And not without reason, as Jens Olberts, Director of Export Sales of Rolled Products, explains. According to the Kemper expert: "Electronica is the perfect platform for nurturing our existing customers in southern India and for meeting new contacts. Over the course of the years, we have established close ties to many customers and have even become friends." The bronze and high-performance alloys for plug connectors are particularly popular in India's automotive sector. According to Jens Olberts: "We have been registering very high growth rates in the local market for years".

Kemper's "KAT®" (Kemper Advanced Tin) is now available in the Indian market. This innovation is a modern means of making tin-plated surfaces even harder. Which is hugely beneficial for both punching operations and on-site developers. Olberts outlines the normal procedure: "The refining method extends the service life of the tools, for one thing, while at the same time reducing the insertion and extraction forces by around 8 percent".
